The West Buxton Public Library will hold its first free art class on Saturday, January 28, 2017. The subject is drawing including lessons on perspective and shading. Participants are invited to bring art projects that are presenting challenges so that others may assist with a solution. Class starts at 11:00 am and will last for about one hour.

The Library will conduct its next “Tech Tuesday” on January 31, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The upcoming session will be an open forum and attendees are invited to bring any tech questions that you have for session moderator Bart McCrum.

The West Buxton Public Library “Story Time” is early next month. It will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017. Children are welcome and encouraged to wear comfortable pajamas and to bring a favorite stuffed toy. Activities will include a couple stories, snacking, and crafting. “Story Time” starts at 6:00 pm and will finish at about 7:15 pm.

In March, the library will host an author talk by Cathy Estabrook. She will talk about her book “Living on Less and Loving It”. She will also be bringing her delicious homemade whoopie pies. The talk begins at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2017 and will last a little over an hour. After the talk, Estabrook will be available for further discussions and to sell her book.
