The Town of Buxton Sestercentennial Planning Committee is calling for submissions to be used as the logos for Buxton’s 250th anniversary celebration. The chosen logos will be used in advertising, memorabilia, and promotion for Buxton’s Sestercentennial event during the summer of 2022.
All Buxton residents are encouraged to turn in a logo submission. Artwork from non-residents will not be accepted.
The committee will choose a winning design in three age groups; 10 and under, 11-17, and over 18. Winners will receive a credit towards free Sestercentennial memorabilia while all submissions will be put into a drawing for a 2020 Funtown/Splashtown Day Combo Pass with one winner drawn from each age group.
Submissions must be rendered in black and white, may be a drawing or digital art, and must contain these three phrases:

Printable submission forms are available from Buxton News. Printed copies are available at the Buxton Recreation Department and at the Buxton Town Hall.
The submission deadline is January 31, 2020. There are three ways to submit your logo design:
- Drop off your artwork and completed form at the Buxton Recreation Department at 174 Portland Road.
- Drop off your artwork and completed form at the Buxton Town Hall at 185 Portland Road.
