The Town of Limington, Maine is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Public Works Director/Road Commissioner.

The Director is responsible for all public roadways maintenance, the upkeep of all municipal properties, minor building maintenance, and municipal vehicle maintenance. The Director also assists the Select Board with formulating long and short range fiscal and operational plans to
meet those needs of the Town.

The position requires a minimum of ten years of experience as a labor foreman on major road construction and maintenance activities; and four years in administrative and operational experience in public works projects; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. The successful applicant must possess a high school education or higher and additional technical education in related fields is preferred. Applicants must possess a valid Maine Class C motor vehicle license with a good driving record for the past four years. A Class B Commercial Driver’s License preferred.

Compensation is $54,080 and the position includes health and other benefits.
