The Town of Buxton is accepting applications for a seasonal Laborer/Equipment Operator in the Public Works Department. It is a 30 hour per week, part-time position starting in November and ending in April.
The primary job is plowing snow. Other duties may include assisting with maintenance of Town highways, heavy manual labor, lifting, shoveling and other duties as assigned.
Applicants must have prior experience with snow plowing and use of heavy equipment. A high school diploma or equivalent GED, and an active Maine CDL, Class B is required. Applicants must have and maintain clean driving records.
