The Town of Buxton is accepting applications for a seasonal, part-time Laborer/Equipment Operator in the Public Works Department. This is a part time position working 30 hours per week starting in November and ending in April.
The primary job is plowing snow. Other duties may include assisting with maintenance of Town highways, heavy manual labor, lifting, shoveling, other general maintenance duties, and operation of other equipment.
Applicants must have prior experience with snow plowing and use of heavy equipment. A high school diploma or GED equivalent, and active CDL, Class B, Maine Driver’s License is required. CDL, Class A, is preferred.
Applicants must have and maintain clean driving records.
Pay rate is $15.75 per hour.
