From the Katahdin Cruises website:

“Katahdin Cruises and the Moosehead Marine Museum offer a glimpse into the glorious days of steam boating and the heritage of the Moosehead Lake Region. Our primary exhibit, the Steamboat Katahdin, cruises daily from late June through mid-October. The museum tells the story of our region’s marine and lumbering tradition with a display of artifacts and treasures. We welcome visitors from near and far to take a step back in time to experience the vibrant and intriguing history of the region.”

The Hollis foliage trip includes the 3-hour Sugar Island Cruise at 12:30 pm.

“Enjoy the natural beauty and history of Moosehead Lake aboard a 1914 steamboat with narration of the region’s rich history. This 3 hour cruise takes passengers to the widest part of Moosehead Lake, just north of Sugar Island. Sorry, no pets or smoking allowed.”
