The Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands is conducting a survey to justify the expenditure of additional taxpayer money.
Your participation will help inform the development of the Maine State Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP). These plans guide state agencies and local municipalities as they decide how to maintain existing and develop new resources for outdoor recreation purposes.Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands
The survey is intended to gather information from Maine residents and visitors about their outdoor recreation activities in Maine and their thoughts on how these experiences could be improved and developed.
The survey answers will remain confidential and reported in combined form only. The survey is designed to take 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
The anonymized results of this survey, along with Maine’s plans for the development of outdoor recreation that this survey helps to produce, will be published by Bureau of Parks and Lands. Previous plans and are available on the Bureau’s web site.
